It was cold and rainy when we left (7 degrees) but there was no way that I was going to go to the Netherlands in the springtime and miss the tulips at Keukenhof Gardens.
Keukenhof is reported to have the most beautiful spring gardens in the world. I totally agree. There are more than seven million tulips, daffodils and hyacinths filling 32 hectares of gardens.
There were also numerous pavilions.
It was lovely in the rain but when the sky cleared it was downright gorgeous. It wasn’t just tulips, there were daffodils, hyacinths, azailias, hydrangeas and orchids to name a few.
If you are in the Netherlands in the spring, you can’t miss this.
A picture paints a thousand words so with no further ado….
