A Day in London

Three Ladies sitting in the National Gallery

Flight to London

We leave our hotel at 5am to catch an 8:15 British Airways flight to London, England. The flight is packed and the flight crew have a challenge getting people to put their personal items under their seats. Surprisingly, I still have some leg room even with my stuffed computer bag under my seat.

I find that my neck pillow (stuffed with clothes), works even better than my one i have used on other trips that was stuffed with the pillow form. I find i get more support with my new one because it is denser.

A Hans Holbein Painting of two menThe flight is just over three hours and Zoe is waiting for us at the airport.

Traffic is heavier than usual because there has been a lot of rain and some of the roads are a bit flooded.

We drop our stuff off at Zoe’s place in Kew Gardens and the three of us take the tube into London where we meet our cousin Kate in front of Canada House at the National Gallery.

We have a light lunch at the gallery restaurant. The weather has cleared. We even get some late afternoon sun.
