I’m really excited because I just discovered Airbnb.com. This is a great way to find alternative accommodations for all budgets.
The site allows hosts worldwide to rent out rooms, apartments or whole houses. Travellers can stay anywhere from a night to a month. Sometimes hosts even rent out their places when they go away for a weekend.
I seem to have better luck if I’m looking for accommodations in large cities but I’m sure this will change as the site grows.
